PRIVACY POLICY AND GDPR COMPLIANCE<\/p>

We treat the protection of your personal data with responsibility and believe that your data should only be collected and processed when absolutely necessary. Therefore, the website www.macherie.gr has been designed with the appropriate operational and internal systems and complies with the following European legislation regarding data protection: Regulation 2018 for the general data protection of the EU (GDPR).<\/p>

This Policy has been adopted by the company with the name \"D. PETROPOULOS SA\" and the distinctive title \"DTP Group\", based in Lykovrysi, Greece (VAT: 094158602 \/ D.O.Y F.A.E. ATHENS), with number GEMI 379701000, tel. 210 2897400, email info @dtpgroup.gr,) which is the controller of the personal data you provide us. Our company is responsible for protecting you every time you use www.macherie.gr either as a simple user, as a consumer-buyer, or as a Member and to inform you of all the information you need, in accordance with articles 12, 13 and 14 of the new GDPR applicable from May 25, 2018 at the European level.<\/p>

1. What is personal data?<\/p>

Personal Data is any information that relates to you, or can be attributed to you. Such information is, for example, first name, last name, patronymic, address, postal code, city, country, prefecture\/region, phone, mobile phone, fax, as well as email, username, password, etc. In addition, personal data also constitute some technical data concerning you, such as, for example, the IP address or the websites from which you entered our website, etc.<\/p>

2. Personal data collected by MA CHERIE and purposes of their processing<\/p>

Like most websites, this one, with your browsing on www.macherie.gr, your registration as a Member in our Online Store, your registration in the Newsletter Service, the submission of a purchase order in our Online Store, collects and processes personal data and information concerning you, either through cookies or directly from you who grant it to us.<\/p>

The collection and processing of your personal data and information concerning you is carried out on the one hand for purposes directly related to the services you request from us and we offer you and\/or for the purposes for which you have granted us your consent and always in accordance with the applicable laws and provisions regarding the protection of personal data. We keep your personal data for as long as necessary to provide you with our products and services, and we keep some of them even after closing your Accounts, in accordance with our legal obligations.<\/p>

We also use Google Analytics (GA) to track user activity. We use this data to determine the number of people using our website, to better understand how they find and use our website, and to see their journey through the website.<\/p>

Although GA records data such as your geographic location, device, web browser and operating system, none of this information makes you personally identifiable to us. GA also records your computer's IP address, which could be used to identify you, but Google does not give us access to this. We consider Google to be a third party data processor, as mentioned below.<\/p>

In particular, macherie collects and processes the following personal data and information about you:<\/p>

2.1 Browsing the Website - Cookies<\/p>

In order to navigate the Website\/Online Store, your registration is not required, in which case your direct provision of your personal data or other information concerning you to us is not required. However, the Company, during your navigation on the macherie websites and your transaction with us through our services, collects personal data and other information about you through our own Cookies (First Party Cookies) or third parties with whom we cooperate (Third Party Cookies), which data and information our Company uses for advertising and promotion purposes, statistical purposes, for market research purposes in order to optimize our products and services, profiling, to measure the effectiveness of the website, to improve and upgrade of its content, its adaptation to the demand and needs of the Users, as well as to measure the effectiveness of the presentation and promotion of the macherie on third-party websites.<\/p>

In addition, they are used by us to connect you to your Account, to remember the products you<\/p>

are stored in your cart, for your connection to your Account without requiring the opening of a new account every time you want to make a purchase in our store, for verifying problems on our server, etc.<\/p>

Cookies are small text files that are installed on your computer or electronic device temporarily and transmitted to our server when you visit the macherie, through the browser you use. None of the Cookies used on the Website collects information and does not gain knowledge of any document or file from your computer.<\/p>

The information collected by cookies for the above purposes may include the type of browser you use, the type of computer, its operating system, internet service providers, the sites you visit and about links to third-party websites that you may choose through our Website, the products and advertisements you see, the IP address of your PC accessing our Website, User Name, User ID & Password, operating system and browser settings, demographic information about you such as your gender, age, place of residence and other shopping habits and online behaviours.<\/p>

By browsing the Website and making purchases through our Online Store, you consent to the processing by macherie of the information it collects from you through the use of Cookies. You can, however, edit your preferences through the special settings of our site for Cookies.<\/p>

2.2. Member Registration - Account Opening<\/p>

During the Member registration process, macherie collects the personal data that Users voluntarily declare when registering as Members of our Online Store, in order to open an Account. In particular, in this case we collect the email and password, first name, last name, address, postal code, city. Your above personal data is used by our Company in order to open an Account for you through which you can see the history of your transactions, while at the same time you give your consent by providing these details to the Company to keep the password, in order to allows you to access your Account every time you log into it with your password.
If you are under 16 years of age, you MUST have your parents' consent before registering on www.macherie.gr.<\/p>

2.3. Subscribe to the Newsletter service<\/p>

We will not send you any Newsletter, for any purpose of advertising or promoting our products, if you do not choose to subscribe to our Newsletter service. If you register, macherie will collect your e-mail address and send you informational material regarding the products of the macherie Online Store and\/or Ma Cherie physical stores, any offers on products, gift vouchers and points, advertisements regarding products, commercial partnerships, other e-shops of the Company, etc.<\/p>

If you choose to opt-in to our email newsletter, the email address you submit to us will be forwarded to MailChimp who provide us with marketing services. We consider MailChimp to be a third party data processor, as noted below. The email address you submit will not be stored in the database within the website or in any of our computer systems.
Your email address will remain in MailChimp's database for as long as we continue to use MailChimp's services for our email marketing or until you explicitly request to be removed from the list.<\/p>

In the event that you do not wish to receive Macherie's Newsletters and advertising material in general, you can at any time request your removal from the list of Newsletter recipients, either according to the instructions provided in the electronic Newsletters, or by sending the relevant request at the address info@macherie.gr. From the emails sent to you by our Company as part of the Newsletters service, through cookies, the Company records the opening rates of messages you receive from us during the Newletters sending service and the number of clicks, together with the content of the electronic messages when you click.<\/p>

If you are under 16, you MUST have your parents' consent before subscribing to our email newsletter.<\/p>

2.4 Purchase of Products from the MACHERIE Online Store<\/p>

For the completion of each online order, its processing and execution, it is necessary for you to provide your personal information, i.e. the information requested from you<\/p>

for opening a Member Account (see article 2.2 above). Our Company uses this data for the execution of the contract between us, i.e. for the execution of your order with the sale of the products and their delivery to the address you give us, as well as for making the payment on your behalf. By providing your personal information during the order stage and for the execution of the contract between us, we will send to the e-mail you have given us the notification of receipt and execution of the order by the transport company, or we will use both e- your email as well as your phone number in order to send you a message in case we face any problem in the execution of your order or for the employee of the transport company that will deliver the products to contact you in case of any problem and for any other communication together you or notice as defined in the Terms of Use (wrong price, shipping delay, etc.).<\/p>

2.5. Payment by credit card<\/p>

If you choose a credit card to pay for the product(s) you buy from the macherie, you must provide us with the type and number of the card, its expiry date, CCV, filling in all the necessary fields for the purpose of payment in the (secure) order form. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards. Transactions in our Online Store via card are protected by the highest RSA Encryption online security systems which guarantee a secure transaction environment in most of the world's largest businesses. macherie processes your card details exclusively for the completion of the transaction, i.e. for the payment for the purchase of the products from our online store. The card number is not stored, so for each purchase in our Online Store that you wish to pay by credit card, you will have to re-declare your card details. Your credit card details are managed securely and under their own responsibility by the payment service provider, in accordance with what we inform you below.<\/p>

2.6. Login via Facebook, Instagram account<\/p>

You can register on the Website or place an order through your Facebook or Instagram account. In this case, macherie will ask you to give us your permission to access any information you have declared on Facebook or Instagram to be public. By choosing to grant this permission, you consent to macherie's access to your Facebook or Instagram Account information that is public, in order to create a profile for you, for the purposes of profile-targeted advertising of its products , but also for statistical purposes.<\/p>

3. Lawful basis for processing your data<\/p>

As can be seen from what we have already described, we never process your data without this processing being necessary and based either 1) on the execution of a sales contract between our company and you as a customer, or 2) on our legitimate interests to maintain of our relationship with you as our customers, or 3) to inform you about the activity and products of our Company, after your prior consent<\/p>

More specifically, our Company will under no circumstances receive from you more personal data than is necessary for each purpose for which it is collected, nor will it disclose your data to third parties, unless this is absolutely necessary for the execution of us of a service, the provision of which you have requested and is related to the sales contract between us, (e.g. product delivery) or the processing by a third party is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests (e.g. carrying out a credit check) or if you have previously given your consent, and\/or when the law requires it (eg to execute a court decision, prosecutor's order, etc.).<\/p>

Also, our Company does not sell, rent or transfer your personal data to third parties, with the exception of the application of relevant legal dictates and only to the competent authorities, as well as does not collect and process personal data of minor children, unless it has the express consent of their parents.<\/p>

4. Retention Period<\/p>

Your data will only be kept on our database for as long as we have a contractual or legal right or it is necessary to keep it. Since we cannot determine this in advance, the retention period may be different from User to User.
Of course, all data we hold about you will be deleted if you choose to delete your Account from macherie or if you ask us to do so, unless we are required to keep all or some of it<\/p>

These agencies are always carefully selected by us and comply with the relevant legislation. In addition, your data may be transferred to countries within the European Economic Area, where all security requirements are met. In the event that we need to transfer your data outside the EEA, this will only be done in accordance with international security requirements and with the maximum protection of your data in mind.
The data kept in our file may be communicated to the competent judicial, police and other administrative authorities upon their legal request and in accordance with the applicable legislative provisions. In addition, in the event of a legal provision, official order or official preliminary examination, the Company has the right without objection to make the relevant data available to the respective service.<\/p>

Both of these entities are based in the US and comply with the cross-border agreement known as the EU-U.S Privacy Shield.<\/p>

\u2022To advertising companies and advertising service providers in general: Macherie does not disclose personal data without the consent of the subjects. However, macherie may share with third-party advertising service providers statistical information regarding the products purchased, demographic information, information regarding the technical characteristics of the mobile devices used for Users' access to our Online Store, etc., from which you cannot be identified.<\/p>

\u2022 To third parties who provide macherie with services related to the operation of the Online Store, such as developers, data analysts, suppliers, data security service providers and subjects' information, strictly for the purpose of processing their services to us.<\/p>

\u2022 To service providers for hosting our customers' database, technical support and management.<\/p>

\u2022 To data security service providers.<\/p>

\u2022 To credit institutions, to access our platform and complete your order directly from these credit institutions, as we have already described.<\/p>

\u2022 \u2022To designated successors: In the event that macherie undergoes a business change, such as a merger, Joint Venture, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or part of its assets, it may transfer all Users' information and data, including of personal information, to the successor organization. If there are significant changes to macherie's privacy practices as a result of the business transition, macherie will notify you prior to the transfer of your personal data.<\/p>

macherie informs that the above categories of recipients of your personal data and information are processors on our behalf and therefore as such do not process any data beyond the above purposes of transmission and always act in accordance with our express orders and instructions.<\/p>

In any case, the macherie employees who have access to your personal data and information are specific and properly trained, while unauthorized access to your data is prohibited.<\/p>

We are committed to providing you with the opportunity to exercise all your rights, in accordance with the GDPR, namely the rights to information, access to your data, rectification or deletion and restriction of processing.<\/p>

In any case that you wish to exercise any of your rights regarding any personal data held by us, you can write to macherie at the email address info@macherie.gr. You may submit a request to us for free access to your data, however depending on the amount of data that macherie holds about you, we may charge you our Company's costs of providing information regarding your data or any other information we hold about you.<\/p>

7. Security of your Data<\/p>

Once the macherie receives your details, security procedures and measures are activated to prevent unauthorized access to them.
Storage: Some of your personal information will be stored in this website's database. This data is stored pseudonymously, meaning the data requires additional processing using a separately stored 'key' before it can be used to identify an individual. Pseudonymization is another GDPR requirement that we have implemented on this website.<\/p>

File transfer: All internet traffic (file transfer) between this website and your browser is encrypted and transferred via 128-bit SSL protocol. Encryption is essentially a way of encoding information until it reaches its intended recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.<\/p>

Card Details: Additionally, we do not store your card details that you use over the web. Your card details are not visible in the macherie, because you are automatically transferred to a secure banking environment to complete your order. At the same time, you must also take every possible measure to prevent third parties from gaining access to your account, such as not disclosing your password.<\/p>

We will report any unlawful breach of the database of this website or the database of any third party data processor to all directly concerned, as well as to and authorities, within 72 hours of the breach, as long as it is apparent that the personal data stored in recognizable form, they have been stolen.<\/p>

Email content is decrypted by our local computers and devices. Additionally, our email platform is hosted by Microsoft using Office 365, which is fully GDPR compliant.<\/p>
